Head over there now!

...on to parties! Dr. Seuss's bday is March 2 so here is some inspiration you can use to party with or even just add a little frosting to your family's meal!

How stinkin' clever is this sign?!? I'm loving it! Can't draw? find an image on the internet and print! Source

Green eggs and ham is such a fun theme - the kids always love to eat green eggs! A great tip from this pic is to use books on a cookbook stand as decoration! Source

Use pics from the book as toppers for your food! I am so craving deviled eggs now! Take one book and rip out the pages, put in $1 frames and place around, too! Source

Use pre-made sugar cookie dough - push into shapes of these eggs, bake, then add royal icing and a green peanut M&M or rolled fondant for these "green egg" cookies! Source

Make these fun Seuss hat cupcakes! use red frosting and marshmallows to create! Source found via gordon gossip blog

Ladies Poker Night Ideas/Inspiration

A little known secret... we love to play board games and sometimes even poker - I always forget the rules and always need a cheat sheet lol!

Here are a few ways to add a little "frosting" to your next ladies poker night!

Go crazy with pattern on this theme! Draw inspiration from a deck of cards (either side of the card!) String cards as a banner - cheap and easy! Source

Hot glue cards together for a fun way to display little treats! Source

Don't forget to add a little sass! Serve up fun drinks in a matching color for all the girls! Source

A fun addition to your wine glasses would be a poker chip - I know it's scary, but you can use a drill bit and a drill on low speed and it's super easy to make these yourself! You can do it! Source

Every party needs cupcakes! Buy pre-made fondant from the craft store and form into a square - use edible markers to add the dots - and ta-da! Source

Carnival/Circus Party Ideas/Inspiration!

Valentine's Day is over! ... and we get a break before St. Patty's Day (whew!)... so on to more parties!

A carnival/circus themed party is always such a great idea for gender and/or age neutral or even when you need to double up on the bday celebrations!

These invites would be perfect! ...use mini clothespins to attach a ticket to a homemade invite! Source

This theme allows you such freedom with COLOR! I love the pendants and all the bold colors! What you can draw from this is make some things symmetrical, and some things at different heights - this gives the viewer an EYE FULL! Source

This theme can also help on the food budget! Love this setup of hot dogs & chips! Source

You have to have carnival games! And don't worry about being too fancy with the games, just make them fun! Source

You can't miss out on an opportunity for a fun photo booth! Source
