Teabags! Perfect cookie for a Tea Party!
For my boss's birthday I made these shortbread tea bags... I was inspired when I saw some wooden tea bags as part of a kid's play food set - I thought hmmm one day I could do shortbread dipped in chocolate! I made little tags with cupcakes and used embroidery thread. I used a round icing tip to punch a little hole in each one before I baked so that I could thread it later.

ReplyDeleteADORABLE!!!
ReplyDeleteOh, they're adorable! Would you send me the recipe please? If I use the link to mini baker there comes the message, that this link is not functional anymore and I can't find shortbread on her blog.
ReplyDeleteBut I just have to try this ^^
Hello! This is Mini Baker... here is the correct link to my Lemon Shortbread cookie recipe: http://minibakercupcakes.blogspot.com/search?q=lemon+shortbread
DeleteThese are so cute! They look really yummy too..
ReplyDeleteThese are absolutely adorable! However, I tried making them once (using this recipe) but they spread in the oven and lost their great shape. The hole "filled in" too. What's the trick?? I'd love to make them again but this is a problem - how did you do it?
ReplyDeleteI think maybe a tip might be to cut them and put them on the baking tray in the freezer for about 15 mins. I did this with some letter shape cookies and they didn't spread at all when baked.
DeleteHope it works, this is the cutest recipe and I want to give it a go!
hi Kim! I've had quite a few people e-mail me and say the link to my Lemon Shortbread recipe is not a working link. Here is the correct link (if you want to change it!) http://minibakercupcakes.blogspot.com/search?q=lemon+shortbread
