Winter Party - special touches

Feels so good to be blogging again!  Not sure about you guys, but we are experiencing the first snow of the year! Hoping we don't get much but it is definitely putting me in the winter spirit!

Here are a few quick ways to Frost a winter event!

I LOVE milk bottles - and this is such a fun way to use them! Little felt scarves and buttons! Source and the birch straws add that little rustic touch! (buy straws here - link)

For a nearly free decoration... go outside, grab some branches and gather some items you might have around the house - glitter, epson salts, glue and make some frosted branches! Source and tutorial 

I might just have to pull these off this year! We are having a ski lodge theme for our work winter party and these would be perfect! I think you should take away from this idea that you don't have to be fancy and frost a whole cookie... even simple touches can make it look amazing! Source  (Moose cookie cutter here - link)
