Bird party ideas and inspiration

Hope everyone had a great 4th! I know any mom can relate - I have fell off the earth for a few days again. Poor baby Elias has been having belly issues again and that means no sleep for us, but it's all worth it! He had a good day today, hoping that he is solved (switched formulas again!).

So back to the party! ...here are some ideas and inspiration for birds, whether that be for a Baby Bird Baby Shower or a nature themed party... plus, don't forget about older, but still fresh!, Frosting for birds here (link)

How cute would these sock birdies be to hang around?! If not in a mobile style, in a banner would be cute! Source and tutorial

Have Easter eggs left over?! Make some of these little guys! Source and tutorial

Fun M&M birds on a pretzel branch would be great dessert for your guests! Source and tutorial

Another fun idea with M&Ms! Cute little chick faces! Source and tutorial (edible markers for eyes here - link)

Birdie theme ideas and inspiration

Gosh it's been a LONG time since I posted a Birdie post! I really must be feeling the pregnancy hibernation because you know how I love birds! Unfortunately, it's been too cold and snowy to even go fill our feeders outside!

Birdie themes are great for baby showers, early year birthdays and can be very easily non-gender specific! Don't forget about older, but still fresh!, Frosting for a bird theme here (link).

How pretty is this buffet table?! Key items of success - varying heights of display, reoccurring themes, like natural elements.  Source

Use bird themed items throughout your setup.  A birds nest would make a great flower "vase", serving dish or to cradle favors! Source unknown :(

Make fun little setups for snacks like these cherrio "bird seed"! Setup in a bowl with a cute little bird makes this too cute! Source

You have to have some kind of edible eggs! Since Easter is coming up, stash away some eggs then if you don't want to get fancy and make them from scratch! Source

Bird baby shower/party ideas/inspiration

It's been a while since I forced my love of birds on you guys ;o)  If you want to peek at some older, but still fresh!, Frosting for a bird theme - peek here

Love this little setup! Incorporate natural elements with your birds to really round out the theme.  If you use the natural tones of browns and greens, they lend a great palate to add another color for a pop! Source

LOVE this idea! Bendy tree branches to serve up mini cupcakes!!! Super fun! Source and tutorial

You could do this for any theme... stamped bird around a toothpick adds a little touch of Frosting for your theme... Source

Chocolate molds are fun... but displayed like this is GENIUS! Think of other themes you could use molds for! Use luster dust to give the chocolate a little extra Frosting! Source

Baby Bird shower ideas/inspiration

Haven't done a bird themed post in a while! You KNOW how I love birds! Check here for older (but still fresh!) Frosting for a Baby Bird theme.

This is THE exact shower I want when I am expecting! Birds AND rustic!? swoon... So many great details - look at that mossy nest for serving!!! Source (ugh! embarrassed, who knows who's this is?!)

You have to have a bird in a cage! Add elements of moss to give extra texture and color! Source

Add birds hanging from a garland of baby's breath above doorways, buffets or if you are really ambitious - across the room! Source

Love these place cards! Use them as buffet cards, as well - just print a bird image out paper, find someone with good handwriting (note - it's not me! lol), then fold.  Tie twine on each end of a small piece of twig and glue to front of the card.  Source

For desserts... stamp a bird image on cloth or paper, glue around toothpicks and you have instant Frosting! Source
