Super easy and fun idea! Use mini letter cutters to create "thank you", names, etc - even add a little frosting when done and sandwich with a plain bottom to really show off! Source

Super cute idea for any birthday or event! string the doorway with crepe paper so the special someone has to break through...at any age! Source

Having a natural themed party? Follow this tutorial to weather your wood! I am SO doing this! Barn wood is impossible to find in my state! Source and tutorial

Trace words (with a layer of wax paper) with puffy paint, let dry and then glue to paper or canvas - you can use any color and trace anything to create inexpensive party props! Source and tutorial

whew! What a day! My poor dad suffered a heart attack at the hospital, had emergency surgery and is feeling better and resting now - what a scare! Struggling with the darker nights too, how about you guys?!

Hey everyone! Hope you had a great weekend! We had our heads down on wedding stuff, but took a break to have a brunch with friends yesterday - it was so nice to relax!

Here are a few random pieces from my stash that might inspire you for your next event!

Caramel spirals will totally impress your guests! These would look so beautiful on top a cupcake or topping an appetizer shot! Source and tutorial

For your next event, create placemats with games for the kids! ...or even just for a fun everyday dinner treat! Source

Looking for stir sticks? Get Popsicle sticks from the craft store and stamp on them! you could even add other embellishments or glue a silk flower or butterfly depending on the theme. Source

Need a quick container? Use a paper plate and some ribbon to whip up one! Source and tutorial

Hope everyone had a great weekend! I hope you guys got less mosquito bites than I did! I tried to get as much wedding stuff done between cleaning and spending my life on Pinterest lol!


How beautiful are these baby's breath flower balls?!? I am definitely doing a few for the wedding! These would be great for a baby shower or garden party or any girlie party for that matter! Source

Pick up clear ornaments and fill them for a party based on theme (glitter, candy, feathers, toys, etc) and hang over your space... then reuse them in house and change with the seasons/holidays! Source unknown

Antiquing paper would be a great idea for an antique/vintage or pirate/treasure hunt party! Source and tutorial

I had to throw something weird in the mix ;o) Eye ball making! These seem so dang simple! Make a big batch and store them for Monster parties, Halloween, etc. Source and tutorial
