Ballerina party ideas and inspiration

We snuck in a few days of sunshine and slightly warmer temps here! WOOT! Hope you guys are thawing out too! Thanks for sticking with me as I post when I can/feel up to it - 74 days to go to the little guy arrives!

A lot of my friends have their daughters in recitals lately, so I wanted to do another Ballet party theme post.  Don't forget about older, but still fresh!, Frosting for a ballet theme here (link)

Make a big impact with a backdrop of tutus! You can even feel good about making your own - because they don't have to fit anyone lol  Source

Princess/Ballerina Party Ideas/Inspiration

Find ways to add a touch of bling throughout your event! Simple, inexpensive jewel trim can be added to items like milk bottles to ensure your princesses have something fancy to sip from! Source

Even a store bought cake can look fantastic sitting on a bed of tulle! Simple way to dress up even the simplest cake! Source

Princess/Ballerina

WOOHOO! No work AGAIN today because of the weather! ...This post would be the "frosting" on any Princess/Ballerina themed party! My Stepmom's nickname is Princess, but these ideas are more fit for a bit younger princesses lol (sorry Mom!)

Can you say a WOW! tablescape! (click on the pic to open up bigger to see all the details!) Can you imagine all the little girl's faces walking into a party that looked like this! If you break it down, it's really not that hard to accomplish! This DIY project would be a great alternative - it's one of those inexpensive round press board tables and 2 5 gallon buckets! Set up a few of these or even one for your little girl's room or playroom - fantastic! Source and tutorial
