I am sure not everyone has this amazing Fall weather, but we are having the best temps! Fall is my fav time of year - mild days and cool nights equals lots of snuggles in quilts, hot cider and pumpkin flavored everything!

When I think cool weather, I think hot foods! Do up a Fall themed chili bar! Use barrels of hay to create height and dimension and pumpkins for splashes of color! Chili is also a great low cost option for large crowds! Source

Does it feel more like winter at your house then Fall today?! brrrr...

If you have a Autumn party planned, why not add a little Fall Frosting with some leaves! (We don't have too many left after the hurricane, but it is still Fall even if it doesn't feel or look like it!).

How beautiful is this textured paper leaf wreath?! Not only would it be great on any door welcoming your party guests... lay it flat and put a serving platter in the middle for a beautiful centerpiece.  Use your embossing folders with leaf cutouts (I think you can find some pre-cut and embellished at the craft store).  Attach to foam or wooden wreath base...or Michaels may still carry the kit.  Source: Martha Stewart

Pumpkin Carving Party

I feel like I am forcing myself not to post Halloween yet... so Pumpkin Carving is safe, right?! I am so loving my cold Fall evenings and mornings!

Hosting a pumpkin carving party would be a great way to get everyone over to spend some quality girl time without a lot of expense... except all the wine, of course ;o)

Just because you don't need a lot of supplies, doesn't mean they can't look stylish! Serve up spoons, carving knives and mugs for cider on a tray.  Use mason jars, fall colored napkins and fall touches like leaves or apples.  Source

You could set up a craft station, too, for those that would rather decorate then carve... include items to decoupage like leaves, have paints, gemstones, tacks, etc.  For a party idea, have each person bring an embellishment for everyone to dig into.  Source

Frost your party entrance with a big chalkboard WELCOME! with plenty of different color and shaped pumpkins! You could even make it a "pumpkin adoption station" so everyone can pick one to decorate! Source

Fall is my FAVORITE time of year! (now you see why I am getting married in the fall next year ;o)  The crispness of the weather and colors are just fantastic!
