Western Cowboy/Cowgirl Party Ideas and Inspiration

Omg it's going to snow!!! This is not ok! I am very nervous - I am not ready for this!

To get my mind off, let's dream about a Western party! Don't forget about older, but still fresh!, Frosting for a Western party here (link)

How cute and festive is this setup?! I love the backdrop of the old town and the name written in a rope lasso! Source

Setup a photo "wanted" station and the kids can take the photos home as a favor! They used just a simple piece of plywood as the backdrop - can't get easier than that! Source

If you don't want to do the printed photos - set up a fun photo station with wanted signs and fun props like mustaches and hats! Source

Dipped marshmallows in mini pots become fun, edible cactus! Source

Western Party ideas and inspiration - boy or girl!

Where is this week going?! I have to much to do before the weekend AGH! I am getting caught up in this gorgeous weather the East coast is having!

Here is some inspiration for a Western Party.  Don't forget about older, but still fresh!, Frosting for a Western theme here (link)

Love all the rustic western touches on this tabletop, including that great quilt! You don't have to purchase a lot for your theme, focus on larger pieces that will make a huge impact! Source

Simple touches like covering juice boxes and insert a bright paper straw!  Source

How cute would a dish of candy rocks (even WalMart sells them now!) with a tag of "pan for gold" be?! Source

How perfect are these cake pops?! I love the different patterns and textures! Next theme you have, think of a few different ones you could do to mix it up too! Source

How cute is this?!? Create a western scene with cardboard to make the guests feel like they are in a whole western town! Source

Use old denim pockets to create pockets on your tablecloth! Not only keeping with the theme, but dang useful too! Source

How genius are these?!? "Cactus sticks"! Pretzel rods dipped in green chocolate and coconut! Love it! Source

Western Theme

AGHGHAGHGH!!! We got one week notice that my (future) in-laws are coming for 3 days - have never met them and the house has SOOO much to be done! No time for even party stuff GASP!

Here's a quick post for a Western Theme (check out previous cowboy, cowgirl and bandanna posts too!) ... then back to cleaning!!!

Use jean pockets with a bandanna folded in as your invite "envelope"! Source found via designdazzle

Set the mood with clusters of items that fit your theme.  I LOVE the photo banner too! Source

Get creative with hay stacks! Use them with an old door to create a fantastic buffet table! You can also use them as benches with a quilt/blanket on top to make the seat more comfy (a.k.a. no getting poked in the rear with hay! lol) Source

Tie a piece of bandanna to your water bottle... even throw on a mini straw or cowboy hat! Source

Ok, how fantastic is this cake!?! Not only did she make the outside a perfect cactus, she marbled the cake inside too! genius! Source

Bandanas!

Bandanas can be used a lot of party themes! Horse, cowboy/girl, cookouts, etc. Here are a few dabs of frosting to inspire you to incorporate them in your next party theme!

Use cuts of fabric or bandana themed scrap paper and adhere to a toothpick with either glue, double sided tape or my fav - no sew fusing! You can even have each one mean a different doneness (guess that isn't a word lol - well, medium, rare) or different kinds of cheeses, or onions vs non-onions! Source unknown (in a secret location and can't search for it....shhhhh.....)

Wrap up a fun favor for your guests in a bandana, tie with twine and a coordinating favor tag! These awesome favor tags are handcrafted and can be customized with your order from blog bff Purple Pug - Source

Wrap sandwiches or cookies for a camping trip or picnic for an extra little frosting on your event! Source

Tie them together to make an adorable garland! Would look great on a buffet table too! Why not cut letters and hang them with twine from each knot to spell out "happy bday" or whatever the occasion! Source found via bedifferentactnormal blog

Use bandana inspired fabric as your guest napkins or use one as a placemat.  p.s. left the pic big so you could see the adorable juice box cover they made! Source
